Aqueous Media

A watercolorist I am not. I admire that art. I am drawn to opaque media for the most part, except where translucents or metallics can play a puckish role and disrupt or help create multiple versions viewed under different temperatures of light and different angles of view. I’ve explored acrylics (and have taken to them), gouache (which helped me to get in touch with my graphic style side) and egg tempera (for the channeling of the painting ancestors).
